Last updated 1 September 2026. This policy explains what PlumbLink collects, why, and what happens to it. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the service, we don't sell personal information, and click analytics are anonymous.
If you visit a creator's page
- We record that a visit or a click happened, with an approximate location (city and country, worked out by our hosting provider from your connection), the platform that sent you (for example TikTok or YouTube) and the time.
- We do not store your IP address, your name, or anything that identifies you personally in those analytics.
- We only set cookies that the service needs to function. There are no advertising trackers on creator pages.
- When you click View on a product you leave PlumbLink and land on the brand's or retailer's own site, which has its own privacy policy.
If you create a PlumbLink account
- We store your name, email address, and password (hashed, never readable by us), or your Google account's basic details if you sign in with Google.
- We store what you put on your page: handle, bio, photo, location, social links, products, comments and discount codes. Your page is public by design.
- We send transactional email only: email confirmation, password resets and replies to your support messages. Delivery is handled by Resend. No marketing spam.
- Product pages you paste are fetched to grab the name, image and brand, and the image is stored on our hosting so your page loads fast.
Where it lives
PlumbLink runs on Cloudflare's network, with data stored in Cloudflare D1 and R2. Traffic between you and PlumbLink is encrypted.
Aggregated insights
PlumbLink is free because tool brands pay for aggregated, anonymised insight into what plumbers click and buy, for example which drain machines are trending this month. Those reports never include personal details of visitors or creators, and never include a creator's private dashboard without their say-so.
Your rights
You can update your details any time in the dashboard, and deleting your account removes your profile, products and analytics. For anything else, including a copy of your data or a deletion request, use the contact page. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
